For me, the things I miss the most are: French Fries Potato Salad Mashed Potatos Potato Chips Hash Browns 🙂 Mostly its the lack of potato. I find it hard to replace this and have trouble forgetting it. I can order other things instead, but with french fries the typical default for a burger (bun free of course), it’s often simpler and cheaper. I’ve been slacking on this quite a bit. Thanksgiving is coming and maybe these things can help me get through? Better than Potatoes -> Cheesy Cauliflower – Take away the cheese and I think you’ve got a pretty nice paleo friendly mashed potato substitute Turnips Instead of Potatoes – Not all of these are paleo, but you could modify most of them. Jicama French Fries – They warn that these aren’t like “regular” fries, but I still want to try this. 3 Recipes for that Snack Attack – Plantain Chips, Sweet Potato Spears and Shrimp Tacos. All 3 sound pretty tasty!
